HOW MANY PAIRS DO YOU OWN???
...while on vacation we had a conversation about underwear [actually several conversations now that i think about it - what is it with women and underwear?] - this one in particular was speculating how many pairs we owned....
i, never having really paid attention, but knowing that i had quite a bit, gave a conservative guess of 50-60 pairs - to everyone elses shock and amazement.
well today in the cleaning/organizing i stopped to count -
SEVENTY SIX PAIRS.
oh good lord.
i am an underwear whore.
i did get rid of 24 pairs...
so that leaves me with 52.
sheesh.
excessive.
i know.
i am a tiny bit ashamed really.
so there you have it.

You are a tramp with the underwear, now. Mercy. I have no clue how many I own, but I'd say at the moment, none that are comfortable and definitely not a single pair that make me feel pretty! {arm jerk} LOL You're hilarious, Havah. Love you!
I think I own 7 - I know, not enough. I'm headed to Wal Mart today.
OMG! Havah! 7-10 pair for me, I believe. I definitely need to replace them all. I remember the first pastor's wife we were on staff with. I was a wide-eyed, new bride (with brand new undergarments) and she was a mother of 4 rambunctious boys. She was folding her underwear and chuckled as she said that her mother had been there the previous week and said, "Honey, you're not getting another bridal shower. Go get some new underwear!" ha! That's about the point where I am.
Unfortunately, I think I could give you a run for your money on that one... I'd be embarrassed to even count how many pairs I have

i would say in my drawer i probably have about 25-30....but i'm weird and will not wear the same underwear that day that i slept in the night before. when i do laundry i do twice as many undies for me as for kev.
30 ==enough for two weeks, two pairs a day (refuse to wear dirty undies to bed) with a couple spares "just in case". But some are in need of replacing.
Catching up on posts --oh, you poor thing and that foot. Ouch! But it looks like you had a great vacation.

ba ha ha! i bet i have twenty or so...some comfy, some not, some lovely, some not...went to a Joyce Meyer convention one year and she did a 'sermon' on the 'underlying' beauty in a woman...and how we don't treat ourselves right...how we just go about putting everyone else first -especially moms- and told us that she could tell what we thought of ourselves by looking in our underwear drawer...if they were holy and worn or dainty and pretty...you get the picture...later that day, in the Victoria Secret's shop at the mall, they had to call in the manager to help with all the sales and couldn't understand why there were sooo many women buying new underwear -- we filled them in...they should have sent Joyce a personal thank you note!! so...when i look in my undies drawer and find less than decent, i toss 'em...and have a sanctified, justified, panty-buying shopping spree!!

Oh my!!! Yeah...I have 10+ "granny" panties which I refuse to wear...wore them in early pregnancy b/c couldn't find anything else my size at 4 different WM's while on furlough last time....so, I actually only have 7-10 that I will wear...doing laundry several times a week!!

btw: you and Syd have corrupted my Sid. When they went shopping a few weeks ago, I said "what did you buy?" My Sid says "panties." I said, "Just how many pairs do you need?" Super SYD goes, "I'M Sorry!!!" How funny is that?

I bet I have about 50 - but now I have to count. I'm actually surprised that more women don't have more than a weeks worth of undies! How sad - go out and buy some undies ladies!!!
