  • I really have nothing to say - just wanted to let you all know that I am still alive.
Working in retail management this time of year SUCKS THE LIFE right out of a girl.
It makes me a little sad that the only thing I am looking forward to this year is the holiday being OVER.
Not to be all bah-humbug or anything, but....
It will all be over in five short days.

  • Hi! Hope you had a wonderful weekend with family & friends!!
ryc: We had a wonderful time. We invited friends over....an American couple, a Swiss family with 3 girls & our dear Turkish friends. We roasted a turkey, had a nice meal. Earlier in the morning we had family time, opened our gifts to each other and those from family in the US....they all sent money, Mark & I went shopping for them. ;) It was a really nice day. It's funny here....most Turks don't celebrate Christmas and many don't know anything about it, but they use our Christmas decorations to celebrate New Years....trees, ornaments, snow men, reindeer, Santa Claus....funny!! So, yep, we had a great day with family and friends. Thanks for asking.

Have you talked to Laura or been able to see them?

  • girlfriend...i have your beads, your slippers and your squishy pillow. guess you have to come live with me.

  • Happy New Year.  I love you.
