So many things to tell you all - too many in fact to recount in one short blog. No way really to recount all of the happenings of the last five or so weeks since my last 'real' blog. So I will perhaps get around to catching up, or maybe I will just let it go and not stress about it.
deâ‹…light: something or someone that gives great pleasure...
I have been thinking much the last couple of weeks about delight. About how somewhere in the course of this somewhat rough and tumble life I have been living, I have forgotten how to simply delight in the people and things that God has put in my life. You know - those daily reminders of His goodness and love and ultimately, His heart for me.
I am realizing that I pretty much need to learn HOW to delight in things and people again. It is a deliberate process - this slowing down and recognizing the good the beautiful and the simply breathtaking in the everyday...
And you know what? It hasn't been hard to re-learn. It hasn't been a struggle...to be quite honest, this learning process has been a delight in and of itself...So - in the trying to catch up, and in the spirit of sharing things that I am currently delighting in - here is a photo from Christmas eve at the Kinne house - all of us 'kids' (as in those of us that are unmarried as of yet) in the traditional new Christmas jammie bottoms...I know I say this all the time, but I LOVE my family...
Haha - as per usual, it is IMPOSSIIBLE to get those boys to not act up during a photo...in order (L to R) Jesse, Abe, Jannah, Havah, Sam and Jordan. They make me laugh, and so glad to be a part of such an amazing [though not wart-less] family!
