• Feeling relatively uninspired [okay and maybe procrastinating on my assigned reading for school tomorrow],I decided to go through some old pictures for a quick post - just for the fun of it...and came across this great shot taken years and years ago [you know - back in the day when I wasn't quite so unsure about being photographed in a swimsuit top and shorts ]...

  If I remember correctly, [feel free to correct me Syd] Logan and Reese were happily playing with the hose in the backyard, and [I think] made the mud pit kind of unintentionally...Mom gave the okay to go ahead and get dirty - and then Syd was persuaded to join in the fun.  Aundrea and I were sitting in the backyard just watching the mud slinging action - I remember looking at her and asking 'Do you think it would be okay for me to go and play with them?' [c'mon - how often do you as an adult get the chance to play in the mud?  Admit it - you're jealous...].  She just laughed and said something to the effect of 'I think they would be delighted'...

  The stripes I believe were Reeses idea - to make me look like the cat in the hat.  It's a striking resemblance, don't you think? 

  Good times...even better memories...

  A little piece of advice for the day...if you ever get the chance to play in the mud or the rain - GO FOR IT!  You will never regret the memories...
