you know you're loopy/looped up when...
you wake up at four am making up new lyrics about your pain medication to the tune of the happy birthday song.Try and sing along - 'No more Darvocet for me, no more Darvocet for me - no more Darvocet cause it makes me puke - no more Darvocet for me'....
No lie - I woke up from a dead sleep composing that in my head and thought it was funny enough to pull out the laptop and tell you all.
It's true - after 24 hours + of some serious nausea and not being able to keep anything in my stomach, it has been determined that apparently my pain meds and I cannot peacefully coexist in the same body.
Sigh. Here I go trying to do it with just ibuprofen.
Did I mention I am a total WIMP when it comes to pain?

Man! I just caught up on your last post and this one. You are one tough cookie for sure. Glad it was hotty day at the clinic. That made things easier I'm sure. I'm sorry you have been barfing, however, it sounds like your creativity skills have been heightened. Call your Dr. and ask for an alternative pain medication. Love you, girlfriend. Wish I was there to watch Harry Potter with you.

LOL! I totally sang the song out loud. hehe. My husband hates darvocet too. It makes him feel weird. He uses it for his stomach pain associated w/ Crohn's Disease. Blech.

Oh you poor thing! Sounds like to meds are getting to you. I have to say I don't see you as a wimp at all. Looking at your last post you were one tough chick! I love that pic of you sleeping with Hadassah, so sweet.

talking about being a wimp...i took a vicoden in the middle of the night last night because my teeth were killing me. i put my retainer in for the first time since jaden was born! omg. my teeth had shifted so much, i had to get chad to pop in the retainer. and then the pain began...
but! nothing like your pain! so you can't say you're a wimp
when there is me, who takes vicoden for retainer pain 
Join the "Darvocet makes me puke club." Can't take it either. I hallucinate, too. Everyone wears clown shoes when I take it. Take the IB every 8 hours and Tylonol every 4 hours. If you alternate them, it helps with the pain.
